Every journey deserves a home.
Masira × Beity
Masira at Beity is a daytime café within Beity, Chef Ryan Fakih’s restaurant in Fulton Market. Masira is Arabic for journey; Beity, for my home. Every journey deserves one.
Masira began as coffee poured in an apartment, then travelled the city as a series of gatherings: Pilsen Arts & Community House, Tala Gallery, Parallel Play, and the ISAC Museum at the University of Chicago.
Beity opened in August 2024. It is Chicago’s first and only Lebanese tasting menu, recommended in the MICHELIN Guide, and its bar won the 2024 MICHELIN Guide Exceptional Cocktails Award. Ryan Fakih grew up across Lebanon, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and the United States, trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and cooked at Alinea and NoMad before opening Beity.
Masira brings the coffee, the gatherings, and the goods. Beity brings the room, and every pastry comes from Chef Ryan Fakih’s MICHELIN-recommended kitchen. Two houses, one standard of welcome.
Café in the day. Beity in the evening.
From five in the evening, Tuesday to Sunday, the room is Beity’s. By daylight it belongs to Masira: coffee, matcha, and tea at the bar, and unhurried tables.
Masira at Beity is open Thursday to Sunday, 9 AM to 4 PM.

Gatherings continue
The gatherings continue, at Beity and beyond. Each is announced first to our letters list, then kept in the archive once the last guest has gone home.
