About the event
The first Café Masira event of 2026 is here - this time, we are centering an issue that is dear to all of us: immigrant justice.
A day to gather, listen, and resist. Café Masira brings together music, coffee, and community in solidarity with immigrants and refugees impacted by detention, deportation, and systemic injustice.
☕ Your ticket includes: • A craft latte or agua fresca from our MENASA-inspired café pop-up • Access to community art displays and live DJ sets • Limited-edition Masira merch available for purchase - all profits going towards immigrant relief
All proceeds will be donated to the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund to support bond assistance, advocacy, and direct relief for immigrants and refugees.
Masira will also match all event profits 1.5x. For example, if the event raises $1,000, the Masira team will contribute an additional $1,500, bringing the total donation to $2,500 in support of immigrant and refugee communities.
🎟️ Early bird tickets are $12 until January 9, then $15 in advance.
Welcome to the journey. Welcome to Masira.
